Two Recent Case Studies

Concern Worldwide (UK)
Brief
To move Concern Worldwide back into their Thameside offices which were destroyed by fire. The refit had been completed to an unsatisfactory standard by the landlord’s builders, consequently the snagging list was extensive and no-one was prepared to take responsibility. Concern Worldwide had a tight deadline to move from their serviced offices, but the data cabling was substandard, the electrical wiring unsafe, and many more issues had to be rectified, alongside the complete organisation of the move. Concern had bought new computers and chairs since the fire but everything else had to be purchased, in place and working before the relocation.

Testimonial from Lyndall Stein, Chief Executive, Concern Worldwide UK:
"I am more than happy to recommend Abi Bunney as a highly efficient and effective project manager and relocation consultant. Abi managed the London office move for Concern Worldwide (UK). What most impressed us about Abi was her enthusiasm and her ability to deal with tense and difficult situations. Abi worked closely with the senior management team and helped us source suppliers that gave us value for money. Abi successfully worked with a range of people on our project including IT specialists, HR professionals, and accountants."

Doctorcall
Brief
Having sold their property in Wimpole Street and purchased premises in Manchester, Doctorcall wished to streamline and move it’s administrative offices into ground floor offices in Harley Street. Over the years, Doctorcall had accrued a large amount of office property, some useful and requiring storage, and some (including files) requiring the correct disposal. Doctorcall wished to relocate the existing office furniture, some going to Harley Street, some to Manchester and some into storage. The most important aspect of the move was the 24 hour call centre, which required a simultaneous switch off at Wimpole Street and start up at Harley Street. Planning was paramount throughout the project because of the extremely tight schedule for the hand over of Wimpole Street.
